1967 INTERNATIONAL TRAVELETTE 4X4 CREW CAB
Many folks don’t realize…..it wasn’t Dodge, Ford, or Chevy that built the first Crewcab pickup truck…….it was International. In 1958.
This is likely one of the worlds best examples of this ultra rare Travelette model four wheel drive Crewcab.
In 2019 it was featured in 4 Low Magazine and was placed on the front cover. The truck is mostly stock with its original recently overhauled 304 V8 engine, 4 Speed floor shift transmission, and two-speed transfer case. The truck drives tight!
It has 37 inch tires that ride nice on deep-wide steely wheels. Looks awesome! There’s also a brand new matching wheel and tire in the bed.
The truck has a custom winch bumper built to match the time period. It holds a rare 70th Anniversary M8274 Warn winch. All the original gauges work, but….. a high amperage alternator was added for the electronic ignition, and Vintage Air-Conditioning system that works very well. COLD!!! Or aftermarket gauges were added as a alternative as to not to damage the originals with higher amps.
The body is very nice…..paint holds a good shine. The paint is not a show car quality…..rather very nice driver. Comes with overhaul documentation, Feature Magazine issues, John Wayne Art next to a similar truck for Car shows etc.
Truck is located in San Antonio Texas. Comes with a clear Texas title. I can help with shipping too. Thanks!!!!
