Howdy from Texas,   I recently found this International Scout in a small Texas town.   After some research,  turns out its pretty rare.   This was a top of the line Scout for its day,  called the Aristocrat.

The Aristocrat had a special paint scheme,  a chrome wheel set,  sliding rear top glass,  special roof rack and carpet far as I can tell.   This truck was outfitted with Air Conditioning too.   Its all there but AC is not working.  The compressor is in the rear of the Scout.   Likely needs replacing.

The truck has mostly been in storage since 2011.   As a result the fuel tanks are gummed up!   The truck runs nice on fresh fuel, and has good brake and clutch pressure.   It has the original inline six cylinder with floor shift standard transmission.

The Scout is a very nice survivor truck with an extremely nice body.  Its very original,  no cuts or patches found.  Of course its four wheel drive and the top unbolts and comes off to make a full convertible.

If you’re a Scout collector,  you won’t want this truck to get away.   The Scout is in San Antonio Texas.   Feel free to call me with any questions.   Hawkeye 210-548-1310
